The project document can have several states in Proliance. Each state indicates where the document is in its life cycle in Proliance. When you perform workflow actions on the document, the state of the document changes accordingly.
|
State |
Description |
---|---|---|
1 |
Draft |
The first default state of a project, where the project is under consideration but not considered active or online. The project team can be set up, but documents cannot be linked to the project. |
2 | Potential | Indicates that the project has not been approved yet. These projects remain in the Potential state until they are approved or accepted. You can choose to pursue this project via negotiations or via bidding. |
3 | In Procurement | Indicates that your company is currently investing its resources to pursue this project. |
4 |
Active |
Indicates that the project is fully underway. Documents can be linked to the project so they can be managed as part of the project. Project Team Role security is enforced and notices are sent out as required. |
5 | Pending Completion | Indicates that no new scope is planned for the project, but the existing scope of work is being completed as the project winds down. Documents can’t be added to projects in this state, however, existing documents linked to projects in this state still work fully. |
6 | Completed | Indicates that all activity for the project has stopped. The project cannot be linked to documents, and Team Role notices are not sent. |
7 | Canceled | Indicates that all activity for the project has stopped and is unlikely to resume. The project cannot be linked to documents, no Team Role notices are sent, and Proliance does not enforce Team Role security for documents still linked to this project. |
